I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit. – Romans 15:13

The sun rose again this morning, but I haven’t seen it yet. It’s cold, dark, and stormy. I know the sun and skies are still there even if I can’t see them through the storm’s clouds.
I can’t see God, but we spoke this morning. It’s cold, dark, and stormy. I know He’s always there even if I can’t see Him through the storm’s clouds.
We didn’t get the good news we wanted from Lucy’s doctors. I didn’t get the good news I wanted from this morning’s newspaper either. Good news is as hard to find as the sun on a dark, cloudy day filled with storms.
On days like today, I need to remember God is my source of hope. He fills me with joy and peace because I trust in Him. He overflows me with confident hope through the power of His Holy Spirit.
I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit!
